ABOUT ME

My name is Yang Lei, and I’m a graphic designer and visual storyteller specializing in brand identity, digital experiences, and interactive media. I recently graduated with an MFA in Graphic Design & Digital Media from the Academy of Art University, following my BFA in Graphic Design from California State University, East Bay.

My work explores the balance between aesthetic clarity and emotional resonance. I love using systems thinking and poetic visuals to craft identities that feel intentional and alive. By experimenting with different artistic styles, I’ve expanded my creative repertoire and embraced the limitless possibilities of design. I believe that creativity should not be confined to a single method, but should flourish through exploration and innovation.

Whether I’m designing a product or curating an atmosphere, I strive to create design experiences that are thoughtful, empowering, and a little bit magical.
